This is the second version of my “LiveJounal“. When I began in August I only posted polished pieces that I had written, edited and thought about for months. I am proud of all three of those pieces and posting them gave me the confidence to deal with the online forum model. I was afraid to make myself visible to an online community because of my feelings of vulnerability and inadequacy. As it turned out it was stimulating thinking about people reading my pieces and I was curious about the reaction of others. So I’m going to put myself out there a little more. For a long time I have kept a paper "random thoughts" journal. Instead of posting my longer, more studious pieces, I’m going to use the paper journal entries from now on. I’m going to intersperse the other pieces if I think they are relevant to general themes but I like the idea of the immediacy of the “thoughts” journal. Let’s see what happens!
